Required for a Well-known bank in UK a Test Consultant - Senior - Contract Based Testing.

As a senior test consultant you:

• Investigate, analyze and discuss all existing end2end/chain testcases from 12 squads within the Insurance Tribe, with the main goal to replace most of those testcases by other mitigating measures.

• You investigate all mitigating measures that can replace the current “old school” end2end/chain test process

• Implement all mitigating measures within all squads, your focus will be especially contract based testing

• Bring up the squads to a higher level of autonomy and work on the mindset of changing the end2end/chain test process

• Collect all remaining open risks and knows how to deal further with all the business and IT stakeholders

• You’re not only giving advice, but you’re able to deep dive into the chain and different techniques and implement contract tests

• Have knowledge of, and experience in, testing subsystems by creating your own stubs, driver and test data

• Are able to test autonomously to become (more) independent of chain testing

• Are a critical friend that stays focused and has an unstoppable drive to ‘break things’ (as a good tester does)

• Are very pro-active, you’re able to translate challenges into solutions

• Are a very experienced end2end/chain tester with work experience in different complex landscapes

• Oversees all system aspects within your own Tribe but also outside our Tribe

Requirements Must have:

• A completed higher vocational (Bachelor, Master) education in a relevant area

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Dutch and English speaking and writing

• Technical affinity

• Different chain (E2E) testing experience in a complex system environment

• Experience in contract based testing

• Experience in agile environment and with DevOps, SCRUM and LEAN

Requirements nice to have:

• Experience with Azure pipelines (or similar like Jira / Jenkins), Git, Confluence

• Also extensive experience with integration, contract, and acceptance testing
