Function
We are looking for a Solution Architect for our area Pay & Receive On Time, within Tribe Payments of bank. Within our area we develop & maintain several applications in the digital payments journey for business & retail customers, such as Batch payments, Direct Debit, Payment API's for PSD2/Open Banking and a Payment Microservice layer to service all Payment frontend channels.
This SA role specific is set to architectually guide 2 Squads working on bank's new Business Internetbanking solution (RBB), make the migration to the Cloud (Springboot, PCF), move to the latest CI/CD Pipelines (AzureDevOps), and Frontend Stack (Angular).
Skills required
Customer focus, Communication Power, being Result Driven and having a Continuous Improvement mindset are key. Able to communicate & align clearly with DevOps Engineers, the Business Architect, as well Business stakeholders such as PO or Risk Mgt also important. Your focus is on translating requirements into the architecture and design that ultimately constitute the blueprint for the solution, also, you are responsible for the quality from the technical design to the realized solution, including integrations/interfaces. In some cases you will also guide Developers in coding best practises.
Requirements / nice-to-haves
• Minimum of a completed (technical) Bachelor degree;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in IT roles;
• Background as a Java Developer, minimum of 3 years;
• Familiar with working in Agile / SCRUM environments;
• Familiar with Software Architecture & Design principles;
• Working knowledge in Cloud Technologies;
• Technical knowledge;
o Java 8/J2EE, Spring Core/Spring Boot;
o Added benefit: Micro services, Jenkins, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Cucumber, Maven, AzureDevops pipelines, Angular.
