Required for a Well-known bank in UK a Software Engineer .Net.

Your Profile

Must haves:

Higher education degree, preferably in Computer Science.

Strong communication skills (English), both verbally and written

Extensive (min. 8 yr) working experience in: .NET (C#)

Team-player with strong analysis/problem-solving skills

Fluency in automated testing/ an interest in Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Experience with cloud-based/ cloud-native development in any cloud. Experience in bringing an on-premise application to the cloud

Strongly preferred:

Experience with developing RESTful webservices

Experience with Javascript-based front-end development (Angular 11)

Experience with .NET Core

Experience with container-based development (e.g. Docker)

Experience with monitoring platforms (Splunk) / structured logging

Experience with SQL

Experience with development in Microsoft Azure

Ability to transfer/ document knowledge

Experience with Git

Experience with message-queueing patterns

Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Nice to haves:

Understanding of the full lifecycle of application development

Experience with Azure DevOps (e.g. creating pipelines)

Experience with working in an international team/ business domain

Experience in the banking sector (preferably in the CDD/KYC domain)

A basic understanding or experience of Agile working practices
