Job Description/Job Duties:
• Develop new customized requirements in Microsoft Dynamics AX through collaboration with users and Business Analysis team
• Programming in X++ with the native Integrated Development Environment for Microsoft Dynamics AX MorphX, using experience from another structured language such as C#, Java, PHP.
• Conduct trial runs of programs, software applications and reports.
• Revise, repair or expand existing programs as indicated.
• Investigate issues in the SQL database using T-SQL statements.
• Modify existing reports and create new reports in Microsoft Dynamics AX using SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Utilize a version control system for all source code written such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Git.
• Create and maintain technical documentation around existing and new customizations.
• Provide feedback to less experienced programmers to improve standards and development practices
• Consult with and assist users and systems analysts to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field (or a foreign degree equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience)
• Minimum 2 years of experience programming in X++ in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (or similar version). Experience must have included developing SQL Server Reporting Services and working with SQL.
• Must pass software programming test covering Microsoft Dynamics AX functions and concepts
Location: Remote working (candidates can come from all over the globe but need to be willing to work Europe timings)
