Required for a Multi-National electricity Company Infrastructure Test Engineer.

Main responsibilities:

• Identify overall testing needs for the IT infrastructure (server, storage, networking, security, etc.).

• Organize and conduct IT infrastructure system and performance testing.

• Work with the team to create, review and execute testing materials.

• Write and run test protocols that demonstrate correct operation.

• Create reports and analyze data that detail results of testing.

• Develop and work with test fixtures required for testing the components.

• Setup test environments and tools including computers, IT infrastructure, test fixtures, etc.

• Automate testing where appropriate by utilizing third party tools.

• Develop automated test scripts.

• Document to ensure adequate test coverage.

• Support the team in performing infrastructure tests.

• Solve impediments.

• Works closely with the test manager and other testers in the project.

• Supporting the team in the implementation of the IT infrastructure.

Candidate profile:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with testing and test automation of complex, IT related projects (preferably in the utility sector).

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with testing in the IT infrastructure (server, storage, networking, security, etc.)

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with testing in an agile / scrum environment.

• Knowledge and experience with defining test cases, executing tests, and test automation within the IT Infrastructure.

• Extensive knowledge of and experience with virtualization, servers, storage, Linux, Windows, networks and security.

• Preferably knowledge of EMS/SCADA.

• Strong analytical and communication skills (written & verbal).

• Excellent language and presentation skills, both in English and Dutch.

• Decisiveness, result-driven.

• Proactive, dynamic and firm attitude towards the team and stakeholders
